Welcome to Fruit Juice Australia

Fruit Juice Australia (FJA) is a division of the Australian Beverages Council Ltd representing processing, converting and packaging companies that produce fruit juice, fruit drinks and fruit cordials for consumption in Australia and overseas.

FJA has a strong commitment to promote truth in labelling and fair trade, which is indicative by the success of its self regulatory Code of Practice established in 1993.

FJA has well recognised links with government regulatory departments and Australian fruit grower organisations. As a member of the Global Representative Organisation 'International Fruit Union' Australia has made considerable impact towards the adoption of world fruit juice standards through the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

The recent merger with the Australian Beverages Council Ltd and the establishment of FJA as a Division of the Council, will strengthen and broaden the membership, thus assisting in the ongoing aim of maintaining a vibrant fruit juice industry in which the consumer and public authorities can continue to have confidence in.
